I'd love to be able to have a downtown meetup of the LA Drupal grp. It's super duper difficult to get to RMI on a tuesday evening at 7pm. I come from the san gabriel valley (where the 10/710 meet, basically), have left at 5pm & still didn't make it- was 6:50pm & was nowhere near RMI. :(
What about having an informal meetup on a weekend? I know we couldn't meet at RMI on a weekend since that's when they have all their classrooms probably filled up. But maybe something informal @ Phillippe's (which has free wifi) would be great- folks who live too far could actually meet the regular LA Drupal folks who can't get enough & would want 2 mtgs.
I hope to make it out to the meeting in June @ RMI, though. ;)
